Amberley Working Museum is a 36-acre open-air site dedicated to the industrial heritage of the south-east. Exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and vintage bus collection (which provide free travel around site), the Connected Earth telecommunications hall, the EDF ENERGY Electricity Hall, a Printing Workshop and much more. The museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the broom-maker, blacksmith, walking stick maker, potter and clay-pipe maker, plus a new restaurant, gift shop & numerous picnic areas.
We're open from mid March - end October, 7 days a week during school holidays, otherwise Wednesday to Sunday.
