Getting ready for another bumper season

The Tourism Department of Adur & Worthing Councils is getting ready for another busy season.

The Councils official tourism website www.visitworthing.co.uk has had a complete redesign. With its new look and improved functionality we’re expecting to get even more hits than last year.

Packed with lots of information about the whole of the Worthing and Adur district, the website features details of where to stay, what to do and what’s on - really useful for residents living in the area as well as visitors.

Keeping up to date with What’s On will be really easy too; the Summer Events Booklet for 2011 is available now. Packed full of Worthing & Adur events from May – October the booklet can be picked up from several locations around the area including the Worthing Information Centre and Shoreham’s Civic Centre or order it online from www.visitworthing.co.uk.

Worthing’s Tourist Information Centre is looking forward to moving in to its new home in the Dome and will be opening its doors this summer. It will be a fantastic new all year round information centre for visitors and residents. In the meantime the current Tourist Information Centre will remain at the office in Chapel Road from Monday to Saturday, 9.30am – 5pm.

Every year Worthing welcomes more than 2 million visitors and is expecting an increase in that number this year as the staycation continues to be popular.
