Conveniently located on the South Coast it's easy to get to Worthing and Adur.

By Road

From the west or the east use the A27 or A259
From the north use either the M25 and A24 or the M25, M23, A23 and A27.

By Rail

The railway line runs east/west across the district so it is possible to access the area from any of the railway stations between Fishersgate Station to Goring Stat. For the easiest access use:

  • Worthing for Worthing Town Centre and Pier
  • Shoreham by Sea for Shoreham by Sea town centre

There are frequent rail services that run from London Victoria (via Gatwick airport) with a journey time of approximately - 1 hour, 15 minutes. National Rail Enquiries 08457 48 49 50.

By Coach

Regular services from London Victoria Coach Station. Also a South Coast service from Worthing.

By Sea

Over 15 cross channel routes are within 2-3 hours drive. The closest ports (within 1 hour drive), are Newhaven and Portsmouth. Day-trips are possible from Newhaven to Dieppe. Book your tickets here.

By Air

Multi Story and Surface Car Parks are operated by NCP Tel: 0845 050 7085. 

Parking Tips
If you are planning a short visit to the Worthing town centre or seafront of up to 2 hours it is suggested that you use the Union Place, High Street, Grafton or Buckingham car parks. For a medium stay of 2-4 hours use the Union Place car park. The car parks at Teville Gate and Broadwater Bridge, near the railway station, are suggested for a day visit being just a 10 minute walk to the seafront and costing a maximum of £3. It’s free to park at the Civic Centre car park on Sundays.
