Beach House Park

Bowls at Beach House Park Worthing

Type: Garden

Worthing's most prestigious town centre park. Best know for its bowling greens which host the annual Bowls England Championships. The colourful site has tree-lined paths, herbaceous borders and colourful flower beds as well as a unique war Memorial to carrier Pigeons. Bowls players will know it for its international class bowling greens, but there are also three tennis courts and three changing pavilions.

For some summertime fun ask a gardener or attendant for the pieces to use the two outdoor Chess / Draughts boards. This facility is free.
For refreshments try the parade of shops on Brighton Road (turn left from front entrance) where there are several cafes. Or turn right on to Brighton Road and head in towards the town centre where there are a wide range of places to eat and drink.

Bowls England headquarters is situated at the north end of the Park.
There are four local bowling clubs resident on site:- Beach House Park Ladies, Homefield Park Men, Homefield Park Ladies and Worthing Bowling Club, each of which may have vacancies for new members.
Bowls is a sport for all ages and greens can be booked - please contact Continental Landscapes - Telephone 01903 227070
