Lancing Ring

Type: Natural Feature

Lancing Ring is a local nature reserve, owned by Adur District Council and important for their chalk grassland, a rare and diverse habitat. To maintain the grassland and prevent it from overgrowing with scrub animals graze the area during the winter, and so protect the indigenous flowers and insects that inhabit the landscape.
