The fort is at the eastern end of Shoreham Beach at the entrance to Shoreham Harbour.
The remains of a Napoleonic fort are at the eastern end of the beach. Shoreham Old Fort was an important part of the South Coast Defence System, and the remains are a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Local enthusiasts are looking to maintain and restore areas of this.

Road Directions

From the A259 turn into Shoreham Beach - follow the road round to the left - carry on eastwards until you see the signs for Fort Haven. Car park on site.
