Splash Point
Type: Family Fun & Activities
Splash Point is a notable landmark on Worthing's promenade, and now transformed into an exciting public space. With its grove of tamarisk trees, engraved slate boulders, imaginative new seating and water feature, it is enchanting by day or night.
This goes towards enhancing this area even further; in addition to the new interactive water feature you can watch artists at work in the newly converted beach hut artists studios, play a game of volleyball on the new sand courts, have a game of crazy golf or enjoy the peaceful Denton Gardens.
Why not enjoy some refreshment at the beach side café, a great place to stop off mid way along the cycle route that now runs along the entire promenade.
Enjoy the newly built beach garden which has been dedicated to the brave lifeboat crew and fishermen of Worthing who manned the boat between 1853 and 1930. Peter Bottomley MP dedicated the garden on the 7th May 2012 to the memory of the lifeboat crew and fishermen, and Peter Huxtable MBE responded on behalf of the RNLI.
There really is something for everyone!
