What's On

Worthing and the surrounding area plays host to an exciting, wide ranging calendar of events throughout the year. 2012 will be even more exciting this year, joining with the nation in celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games and hosting some brand new events for the very first time: the Adur & Worthing Food & Drink Festival and “The Big Air Open” Kitesurfing Classic 2012.
Not forgetting all the favourites as well; the famous Worthing International Birdman Competition, The Bowls England Men’s International Championships and the Adur Festival, celebrating 25 years this year plus the Worthing Festival and the Shoreham Airshow – just some of our major events.
But that’s not all; there are all kinds of Markets, Festivals, Cultural and Sporting Events too.
Find out what’s on at one of our museums; Worthing’s Museum and Art Gallery has a programme of special exhibitions and activities. Take a look at one of the many entertainment venues in the area; with 6 theatres and 2 film venues you are sure to find something that you will enjoy. The Pavilion Theatre, Connaught Theatre/Ritz Digital, Assembly Hall and the Dome Cinema in Worthing offer a fantastic selection of entertainment with something to suit all tastes and ages. While in neighbouring Shoreham by Sea why not explore The Ropetackle Arts Centre or one of the provincial venues with their amateur productions.
