There’s plenty to choose from to keep you amused during the festive season throughout the whole area. From Carol Concerts to Festive Films there really is something for everyone and Worthing has not just one but two pantomimes throughout December – oh yes there is!
Cinderella at the Connaught Theatre
Friday 2nd to Saturday 31st December
With a wave of a magic wand, the Connaught will be transformed into the perfect place for everyone to enjoy a magical Christmas. The classic story of Cinderella stars Amanda Barrie as Fairy Godmother (Coronation St., Bad Girls), John Lyons as Baron Hardup (A Touch of Frost), Darrock & Howe as the Ugly Sisters and local girl Naomi Slater as Cinderella.
Peter Pan at the Pavilion Theatre
Thursday 8th December to Sunday 1st January
Travel beyond your imagination and past the stars to Neverland to witness the adventurous tale of Peter Pan. Starring Darren Day as the villainous Captain Hook, local lad James Lyley as Peter Pan, kids’ favourite Rollo as Smee and Heart Breakfast presenters Tom, Lynsey and Jack.

Festive Family Fun
Indoors and out there are some great things to enjoy in Worthing. Wrap up warm and get out and enjoy the great outdoors or if the weather’s not behaving take the time to explore the Museum this Christmas.
A Real Outdoor Ice Rink will be in Steyne Gardens from on 10th December 2011 it will be open daily (except Christmas Day) until 8th January 2012. You can book your tickets on line at www.worthingicerink.co.uk
If you’re looking for Santa there will several opportunities for you to go and see him; he’ll be in a 16ft. teddy bear grotto at Brooklands Pleasure Park from 3rd to 24th, he’ll be flying into Worthing Town Centre with his reindeer for a visit on 4th December from 12pm – 4pm and he’ll be on the miniature steam train at Field Place, Worthing on the 18th.
