Accommodation Standards
The accommodation featured on this site has been quality assessed by either VisitBritain or the AA, or has recently applied for a rating and is waiting assessment. Please be aware that ratings may change throughout the year.
All accommodation is assessed and awarded one to five stars to reflect the overall quality of the experience. This includes comfort; the range and quality of facilities and food; welcome and service; and most importantly the cleanliness.
Places that 'go the extra mile' to make your stay a special one, may achieve a Gold or Silver award.
The award also includes a 'designator' to explain the type of accommodation e.g. Hotel, Guest Accommodation, Inn, Self Catering etc..
